What project teams need to do
Project teams aren't expected to complete everything perfectly at the start. The PIA is a living document. it can be updated as the project develops.
- Complete the PIA early
- Explain the project's purpose
- Share what you know now
- Mark unknowns as TBC (to be confirmed)
- Tell IG about suppliers, platforms, sharing or changes
Hiding unknowns creates roadblocks later. TBCs are acceptable; silence is not.
