What data needs attention?
Some data needs more care because it could identify a person, reveal something sensitive, or affect residents. The more sensitive the data, the earlier IG should be involved.
- Personal data. name, address, contact, resident ref
- Sensitive. vulnerability, hardship, benefits, household-linked sensor data
- Special category. health, ethnicity, disability, religion, political opinions, biometric
If someone can look at the data and say 'I know who that is,' you're dealing with Personal Data.
